The selection is for a Senior Systems Engineer position.

The selection is for a Senior Systems Engineer with significant experience in the design, management and support of hybrid IT architectures, with local architectures based on the most popular virtualization systems and entreprise solutions and cloud architectures based on both Microsoft Azure and Amazon AWS. The candidate will have to work within medium-large and articulated architectures, so the essential conditions for advancing the candidacy are, excellent technical knowledge in systems and networking, good management and interpersonal skills, aptitude for working in a Team and excellent knowledge of both written and spoken English.

Description of Activities.
The candidate will be expected to work in the design and implementation of IT architectures mainly based on Microsoft systems in hybrid environments (local and cloud) as well as troubleshooting and change management related targeted to the implementation of system modifications and/or evolutions. Will be expected to perform upgrade activities and procedures following implementation guidelines in relation to support plans that will be defined in agreement with customers. Will be responsible for specialized second and third level support activities managing activities according to ITIL methodologies until the issue is fully resolved.

Essential will be updating service management systems and technical documentation, monitoring performance, and analyzing system reliability and scalability. In summary, the main activities will be:

  • Participation in project definition phases with internal/external client and planning of project implementation phases
  • Detailed definition of the project plan, involving relevant business areas and coordinating assigned resources
  • Identifies risk areas in the project plan and proposes technical and organizational solutions for their monitoring and management
  • Manage interaction with suppliers if they are to be part of the project team
  • Drafting of project documentation in both the different progress and closure phases
  • Implementation and management of Server and Network architectural infrastructure (LAN, WAN and WiFi)
  • Network analysis, management and performance monitoring for diagnosis and troubleshooting
  • Management and configuration of Endpoint, Server and Perimeter Security solutions
  • Problem solving in Server and architectural environment, including Networking and Security.

Broad distribution of activity:

40% – Management and troubleshooting (Incident management)

40% – Design, Management and Implementation of Change (Change management)

20% – Meetings, Telephone Conferences and Update Documentation and Outlines.

Required skills:
Excellent knowledge of enterprise architectures based on Microsoft systems (Active Directory, Windows Server, Exchange, etc.).

Excellent knowledge of Azure and AWS cloud architectures

Excellent knowledge of Server virtualization and VDI systems (Vmware, HyperV)

Excellent knowledge of Microsoft productivity cloud environments (Teams, Office 365)

Excellent knowledge of Backup and Operational Continuity Management architectures tools in particular the Acronis suite

Excellent knowledge of SAN and vSAN architectures and hyperconvergence solzuions based on Dell, NuTanix and DataCore technology

Good knowledge of Security solutions in Endpoint, Server and Network in particular Sophos and Cisco architectures

Good knowledge of Layer 2 and 3 network architectures (Switching and Routing)

Excellent knowledge of WiFì network architectures particularly those based on Ubiquiti and Cisco technologies

Good knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server Database environments

Certifications
      – Microsoft MCP Certifications in Server and Cloud.

  • Certifications Certifications CCNA
  • Other Certifications pertaining to the skills required by the profile

Complete profile:
The candidate should have a good knowledge of the English language and an aptitude for working in a team, many of the activities required involve the coordination of other resources and external suppliers for whom the figure must be a reference. Knowing how to coordinate and motivate a team of resources is essential for this activity.

Communication and interpersonal skills will be highly valued, being in close contact with customers the candidate will be called upon spersso to support sales staff during pre-sales activities.

Experience:
Proven experience of at least 5 years in similar role required.

Placement:
For the candidate who fully meets all the requirements of the position, the proposed placement includes a permanent contract of employment and a RAL commensurate with the function and professionalism of the candidate.
The place of work is Prato and for the performance of its activities must be guaranteed the availability to travel to customers, mainly in central Italy and occasionally abroad, availability to be on call.

Cosa dovrai fare?

La risorsa verrà inserita all’interno della funzione Sales e sarà affiancata e supportata nelle attività quotidiane e nella crescita professionale dal Responsabile Vendite. In particolare seguirà le seguenti attività:

  • Identificare nuovi potenziali clienti e costruire un solido network di relazioni
  • Applicare le strategie commerciali identificate dall’azienda volte all’acquisizione dei nuovi clienti e alla loro fidelizzazione.
  • Imparare a conoscere il mercato di riferimento, i competitor e i potenziali clienti.
  • Presentare i nostri servizi e prodotti a potenziali clienti.
  • Collaborare con i Customer Leader per la gestione operativa dei clienti su temi come nuove opportunità, criticità e andamento delle attività.
  • Interfacciarsi con altre funzione aziendali, in particolare Amministrazione e Acquisti.
  • Aggiornare CRM e predisporre reportistica
